My Design History

I started working in high-end residential design with Dan Sater of The Sater Group (aka The Sater Design Collection) in Bonita Springs, Florida.  After working with him for several years, I worked with one of his former partners, Eric Brown of the Eric Brown Design Group (aka The Palladian Design Group).  Those two men are some of the best at what they do, and I feel privileged to have worked for them.

I received a call from Atlanta Design Associates in late '96 and came to work for them.  I left for a few years to sell insurance, but I am now back with Atlanta Design on a full time basis as the Project Manager over all the ground-up buildings that we do.  I also provide any CAD training for the staff there and manage the CAD software, including performing the software upgrades when necessary.

I have provided my services on a part time basis for the last 10 years or so since I enjoy the creativity of working with my own personal clients so much.

Thanks for your time!

Examples of My Residential Work

A French Country Home I designed in Buford, Georgia that started from a plan
the owner purchased and wanted a few changes made to, but eventually became a redesign of the majority of the interior of the house.

A remodel of a decades old ranch in downtown Atlanta to a beautiful new Craftsman style home.  See original home below:

Before shot of the Craftsman style home above.

A Craftsman style home in Bishop, Georgia that is still under construction.  The four columns at the front porch will be stone tapered up to the top.  The wainscoat at the bottom will be stone once the owner finishes the rest and gets his C.O.  The concrete pad I'm standing on to take the picture will be a three-car garage that runs perpendicular to the house and there will be a matching garage on the left side of the house too.

A home I designed in the North Georgia Mountains that is still under construction.

Another Craftsman style home in Decatur, Georgia.

This is an almost complete remodel of a home at Lake Hartwell damaged from broken water pipes.

A Manor home in Lake Jackson, Texas that has not been built yet.  The owner purchased a set of plans and wanted the interior and exterior aesthetics changed to closely resemble one of Dan Sater's designs.

A home I just finished designing the remodel for that is under construction right now in downtown Atlanta - with a New England flair.

A home in downtown Atlanta under construction that was originally going to be a Spanish Mediterranean style.
